MISSESS MALCOLM

Missess Malcolm graduated from Aveda Institute in Washington, DC with her cosmetology certification in 2013. After taking two years to enjoy finally being out of school, she moved to Brooklyn, NY to pursue professional hairstyling. There she began working in a salon but after assisting backstage at NYFW, she quickly realized editorial styling was her passion.

After going freelance in 2019, she began assisting celebrity hairstylist and brand ambassador Kendall Dorsey. Since then she has styled hair for Justine Skye, Ayesha Curry, Solange Knowles, Tresemme, Fenty Beauty and Patt McGrath. She has worked with designers during NYFW including Micheal Kors, Pyer Moss, PrettyLittleThing x Naomi Campbell, Laquan Smith and Pat Bo.

She loves the artistic aspect of editorial hairstyling and enjoys session work while also working in fast paced environments. Above all she is a creative and is open for passion project collaborations.
